With the integration of the graphical scheduling board into the browser, theurer.com C3 is taking another important step in the transformation towards a browser-based interface, thereby once again contributing to the digitalization of production planning in the printing and packaging industry.

The C3 Mobile Browser platform already offers various browser-based modules, and the new graphical scheduling board extends this with a flexible and user-friendly solution for production planning.

A new feature is the visualization of the dependencies between the individual work steps throughout the entire production process. When a work step is selected in the graphical scheduling board, arrows show the relevant connections to associated work steps, providing clear orientation and transparency. The status and processing status of a work step are visualized using a corresponding color scheme.

The new graphical scheduling board offers numerous search and filter functions to help you keep an overview even in complex scenarios with many machines and orders. In addition to the standard search, the advanced search function allows you to search not only by the properties of a production order or work step, such as the order number or customer, but also by the complete characteristics of the work steps. Alternatively, all orders can be displayed within a specific time period or filtered by department.

These and numerous other functions, such as rescheduling work steps via drag and drop or fixing and grouping work steps, make the new graphical scheduling board in the C3 mobile browser platform a comprehensive and indispensable tool for managing complex production processes. Seamless interaction with the C3 desktop client is also possible, so that, for example, the production order associated with a work step can be opened directly in C3 with just one click.

A special highlight is the integration of AI planning into the browser-based interface and the visualization of the results. It increases production efficiency through improved and fully automatic planning of production processes and by saving a considerable amount of time in the actual planning.
