We are very proud to be a partner of Windmöller & Hölscher with our industry-specific ERP/MIS solution C3. Together with W&H, we have developed an interface that can transfer the job data and machine settings from the C3 ERP/MIS software directly to the W&H machines. The back posting from the press operating data is transferred back to C3. This creates a closed loop in the sense of an Industry 4.0 specific to the printing and packaging industry. Visitors were already able to experience this at the W&H Group's in-house Expo in Lengerich, which was held in parallel to K2022 in Düsseldorf.
The advantages are obvious: order data is automatically taken from the calculation created in C3 and transferred directly to the machine terminal, saving time and costs. The bidirectional transmission of data between C3 and the W&H systems further advances automation. Last but not least, this also avoids redundant entries and manual data transfer by the user, thus minimizing incorrect entries.
